Epic Photobomb by the Mr
This year we have committed to having more fun as a family. Now that munchkin is four, there are so many more things we are able to do. She doesn't require a nap anymore and is able to be active most of the day without melting down. Hurray! Following up our last fun "Family Date Day" in Big Talbot, we decided it was time to visit the Jacksonville Zoo again. It has been a while and with spring in the air, we knew we couldn't find a better way to enjoy the day together. We started our day at brunch with our friends at Flying Iguana. Yumm!

With energy to spare we made our way to the Zoo and Gardens.

A warm March day and a cup of shaved ice!
A little splurge:)
Thanks to Mountain Buggy, Munchkin enjoyed the park in comfort, in their new compact Nano.

The Tiger habitat opens soon and we can't wait to see this ground breaking exhibit.
Tigers on the Way!

Rock Climbing at the zoo

"What does the zebra say"

It was great times at the zoo and I needed a nap afterwards. We can't wait to return to see the Tigers next time! So much has changed since I was a little girl roaming the zoo. It's a whole new exciting destination.
The great thing is that family memberships are extremely reasonable costing about as much as it costs for a family of 3 to go to the zoo twice. So what are you waiting for? Go have an adventure!

Unti then...

Enjoy the Journey!
