Amy in a bikini? Trends for 2014 Swim and Resort wear!

Most beautiful woman ever dress
Lisa Kaminski
Depending on how long you've been following the A-list you may remember my blog on "The Most Beautiful Woman Ever" dress. That blog featured a masterpiece by my favorite swim and resort wear designer Lisa Kaminski. Lisa's work is top quality, highly collectible, and always on the cutting edge of fashion. If that wasn't enough Lisa shines with the brightest positive energy, and radiates warmth wherever she goes to whomever she is with. In short, I pretty much have a girl crush on her. She is awesome! Which is why I invited Lisa to tell us a little bit about herself and give us her:

Trends for Swim and Resort Wear in 2014

" My love for swimwear started very early, growing up on the beaches in Jacksonville, Florida. I designed and created my first swimsuit at age 15.
I am a self-taught designer who puts my eco-concious beliefs into action, utilizing reclaimed hardware and ornate found objects from my world travels to design wearable art. My swimwear is handmade by me in Florida. My goal is for every design to include a unique element: unusual fabrics, reclaimed hardware, bead accents, vintage pins. My love for travel, food, and music inspire all my designs!
Here are my 2014 trends for Lisa Kaminski swimwear and resortwear collection.
1. Macramé details
Not only does this trend help add some beautiful texture to swimsuits and maxi dresses, but it also lends a chic bohemian element to any beach or poolside ensemble.

2. Cutouts
These add a sexy flair to your bikini or mono-kini. I had so much fun designing these styles!

3. Neon
Bold and bright colors are in this season and are sure to get you noticed at the beach and pool. Retro-inspired shades of electric pink, and fluorescent orange are huge this season and will certainly complement a freshly sunkissed tan. In addition to solid neon suits, look for maxi dress styles with just a subtle pop of neon featured in chevron prints, and color-block looks.

4. Nautical
Look for this classic to come back with a twist! Knotted rope details, and fun, nautical-inspired prints and stripes in italian knit jersey maxi dresses.
Nautical-inspired looks never go out of style
5. Classic white is hot!
I think a white swimsuit is always glamorous, and a signature element of mine is to include a white design in every collection I create. My 2014 white design is named Delano, in a bandeau style top with cutouts and lace up tie strings.
6. Sea of Love!
Fabrics that are soft, and flowly in many shades of blues and greens. Created in both solids and prints featuring new strapless, keyholes and one shoulder maxi dress styles.

Thank you and have an awesome spring and summer!"
